Math @ Work: Newspapers/Sports: Digital Deadlines
Math @ Work: Newspapers/Sports: Digital Deadlines provides an overview of how editors, reporters, copy editors, and advertising managers use math during newspaper production. The program features five newspaper staffers at the Dayton Daily News, who give students a behind-the-scenes video tour of what it takes to produce a newspaper section. It shows the impact of the deadline on newspaper production; the business of newspaper production; how a newspaper gets its revenues; how editors establish budgets; how newspaper advertisements are sized, priced, and sold; how reporters use math and statistics in reporting and writing stories; why photographs often have to be resized to fit on a newspaper page; and how a newspaper uses research statistics to deliver what readers want to read.

Algebra I Lab Guide
Algebra I Lab Guide consists of 24 full-period computer lab assignments. The program allows students to use dynamic graphing and mathematical modeling to graph systems of algebraic equations and inequalities, plot data, and study interactive curve fitting. Students can vary a polynomial's coefficients using sliders and simultaneously see how its graph changes. The program's lab assignments introduce, illustrate, and reinforce some of the California Algebra I standards. The assignments can be completed approximately weekly with students working in pairs as in a science lab.

Interact High School Advanced Mathematics
Interact High School Advanced Mathematics is an interactive multimedia CD-ROM. It uses animation, sound effects, video clips, cartoons, interactive activities, real life examples, and worked examples. Part A covers: Vectors, Coordinate Geometry, Circular functions (trigonometry), Calculus (differentiation, differentiation and Integration) and Algebra. Part B includes sections on Calculus, Kinematics, Vector Calculus, and Dynamics. It contains a section on examination techniques and hints on how to succeed in examinations.

Interact High School Core Mathematics
Interact High School Core Mathematics is an two-part interactive multimedia CD-ROM that covers univariate and bivariate statistics, sequences and series, time series data, graphing polynomials, difference equations, graphs and relations, geometry and trigonometry, and ratios and proportion. Text and explanations are detailed, building from the more simple to the more complex, with step-by-step worked examples and supporting practice questions. Part A concentrates on Data analysis, includes examination tips and practice questions, a thorough review of previous studies, and extended topics and new concepts. Part B focuses on three topics: Number Patterns and Applications, Geometry and Trigonometry and Graphs and Relations.
